Durapik asked us for a video to become the centerpiece of their Crowdfunding campaign for re-usable and recyclable dental picks. With very limited resources to make it happen, we decided on a combination of home-video and greenscreen technology that would allow us to create powerful scenes on a budget suitable for their pre-funding project.
Drawing on inspiration from other successful projects on Kickstarter and Indiegogo the video was designed to deliver the Durapik story in a memorable, lighthearted and comedic manner. The goal not to belittle the problem of plastic pollution, but to make an accessible solution seem like ”a no-brainer.”
The video turned out to be a resounding success and the Durapik project currently has 8,159 backers contributing a total of USD $443,448.38
